Customer/Department Management helps you organize and isolate devices, programs, and delivery permissions in multi-customer or multi-department scenarios. It keeps people and resources in a clear hierarchy to avoid mixing resources or accidental delivery.
The relationship is a two-level structure:
- Level 1: Customer/Department (for example: a customer, a company, Engineering, Marketing)
- Level 2: Users (member accounts that belong to a specific customer/department)
You can create a customer/department first, then add multiple users under it. Finally, assign devices and programs to that customer/department. Users will only see and manage resources that belong to their own customer/department.
Entry
Go to "Me" and open "Customer/Department Management".
Create a customer/department
In the customer/department list, click "Add Customer" in the top-right to create one.
After creation, click "Edit" to open the customer/department details and configure more settings.
Add users (level 2)
On the customer/department details page, find "User List" and click "Add" to add multiple users into this customer/department.
After users are added, they inherit the resource scope of this customer/department and can only access devices and programs assigned to it.
Customer/department permissions
In the customer/department details, you can configure permission switches such as:
- Allow binding devices
- Allow creating programs
- Allow uploading materials
These permissions limit what all users under that customer/department can do.
Assign devices to a customer/department
In device details, find "Assign to Customer" and choose the target customer/department.
After assignment, the device belongs to that customer/department and is invisible to users from other customers/departments.
Assign programs to a customer/department
In the program list, open the more actions menu and choose "Assign to Customer" to assign programs to a customer/department.
After assignment, the program is only visible and deliverable within that customer/department.
